Portugal look to continue their excellent start to Euro 2024 qualifying group J. They top the table with maximum points from two games and now host third-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 'A Selecao' have had two impressive wins so far in this group but against sides unlikely to qualify. They began with a 4-0 home win over Liechtenstein and then followed that up with a 6-0 away in Luxembourg. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in both those games but overall, six players have been on the scoresheet. It gets a ittle harder now for 'Os Navegadore' with the visit of Bosnia and Herzegovina but they're stil expected to win. Only one of their last 25 home Euro qualifiers have been lost, with that defeat being in 2014. Since being beaten by Albania, they are unbeaten in their last eight home qualifiers.
Bosnia and Herzegovia have three points from their first two qualifying matches. They began their campaign with a 3-0 home win over Iceland but then lost 2-0 in Slovakia. One bonus for them is that their Nations League performances mean they are assured of a place in the play-offs. They have lost two of their last three matches and struggle in away games. No wins have been recorded in the last six on the road with the last win coming in Kazakhstan in October 2021. Six of the last seven away Euro qualifiers have been lost and they look like struggling again in Portugal. We go for a home win here with Portugal leading at both half and full time.
