• Minimum odds to play

You must place a bet with a minimum stake of £10 on odds of 1/2 (1.5) or greater. Anything below this value will not be eligible and will essentially not count.

You can make a combined bet using this offer, but it must also have odds of at least 1/2 (1.5) or greater.

You cannot cash out your bet, nor can you add to it once it has been set and is still live. This will make the promotion void, and you will not receive the free bets. 

Be careful to the expiration date

While we didn’t find a time limit for when you must place your first qualifying bet to receive the welcome bonus, we did find a deadline you should be aware of. This is:

• You must use the free bets within 7 days.

Any free bet that hasn’t been used by the end of the seven days (following the settlement of your first bet) will expire and no longer be available to use.

Terms of use and withdrawal of the William Hill bonus

The terms of use and withdrawal conditions for the William Hill bonus can be confusing on the surface, as they make no mention of wagering requirements.

Wagering requirements are a standard T&C of any bonus. This is typically what you need to wager in order to be able to withdraw your bonus as winnings. For instance, many will require you to wager 40x the initial stake to be eligible to withdraw it.

At William Hill, they state that the bonus cannot be cashed out. Instead, their FAQ states that payments are based solely on winnings and don't include any stakes. So, this could mean the following:

• Place a bet on odds of 2.00 using one of your £10 free bets. If it wins, you’ll get £10 in winnings (£10 free bet x 2.00 odds = £20 - £10 free bet = £10 in winnings).

As noted before, you’ll need to use your free bets within seven days of making your first qualifying bet. A qualifying bet includes any bet available on the sportsbook containing the minimum odds of 1.50, excluding virtuals (Virtual horse racing, Virtual greyhound racing, Virtual football).
