Is Unibet a bookmaker for you?
We will delve deeper into the question of whether Unibet is the right choice of bookmaker for you as we progress through this in-depth review. However, we were certainly impressed initially with the ease with which the Welcome Bonus can be accessed and the ease and speed with which it can be used.
So while the offer gets a positive mark from us for the vast majority of customers, it is worth pointing out that higher rollers may struggle to see the real value of this welcome offer, which is clearly aimed at the micro-to-lower stakes punters.

So you’ve signed up with Unibet and are raring to go, so what kind of website can you expect to find once you’ve logged in?
Firstly, we think the Unibet site is set up very intuitively and is extremely user-friendly. While the design isn’t ground-breaking, most betting sites tend to use a three-column approach nowadays, but where Unibet shines is that its labelling is clear, its filtering through the options using clear titles is quick and easy and the whole site just flows easily from there.
Part of the uncluttered feel of the site is down to its simple livery of Green and White, with sparing use of colour which further helps delineate each section from the next. The fact that the site is overloaded with moving menus, offers, clips and a vast palette of colours means that it also loads and runs quickly too.
Placing a bet is easy. Simply click on the odds to add the selection to your bet slip and then you can add your bet stake and click the button to place the bet.
Unibet may not be the most dynamic site, but it makes up for that with its superb functionality, ease of use, speed and reliability.

Our review of Unibet Sports found that it offers a good choice of different sports to bet on, as well as a small number of non-sporting betting markets too. This includes a number of less-common sports, such as Gaelic Sports, Lacrosse, Waterpolo and Winter Sports.
The more popular sports to bet on are also well covered with Horse Racing a particular focus for the site (and its promotions), but its offerings for the likes of Soccer, Cricket, Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Rugby and American Football are all extensive too.

For each of the sports available to wager on with Unibet, there are a range of different competitions you can bet on. As is customary in our review, we’ve focused on three major sports, Soccer, Tennis and Basketball and can confirm that there is a wealth of options available for these sports, as well as other sports on the site.
That coverage extends beyond the major tournaments into lesser tournaments, for example Basketball offers coverage of the NBA and EuroLeague but also covers other regional competitions such as the PBA Commissioner's Cup in the Philippines and the KBL league in South Korea, as well as domestic competitions in many countries across the world.
This extensive coverage is replicated across a wide range of sports at Unibet, giving its customers an extensive choice of betting markets.
Types of bets available at Unibet
As is the norm nowadays, any top site would offer a wealth of bet types to select from on any sporting fixture. At Unibet this is certainly the case as we found plentiful options in terms of markets for the wide range of sports.

It should be noted that Unibet has a very strong focus on horse racing, not just in terms of the betting markets and options available, but in terms of its promotional material, the vast majority of which is dedicated to betting on racing (including greyhounds).

Outright betting is very popular and our review found that this particular niche is well-catered for at Unibet Sports. There are a wealth of outright options for a wide range of different sporting tournaments across the broad spectrum of different sports.

Special bets at Unibet
Alongside the wide range of sports bets available at Unibet, there are a small number of non-sports betting markets available for you to bet on.
You can find these in two main sections of the A-Z list of sports available to bet on at Unibet and they are located in the Politics and the TV and Novelty sections.
Politics offers a range of markets from various political markets, such as who will win the next election, who will be the next Conservative or Labour party leader for example.
TV and Novelty features other bets linked to both categories, such as who will be the BBC TV Sports Personality of the Year or the Eurovision Song Contest. Other more seasonal markets will also be available, such as whether there will be snow on Christmas Day, for example.
Odds offered at Unibet
Odds are a key aspect of any betting site and it is always key to see how the odds from one company stacks up against its rivals. To that end we took a look at how the Unibet odds stack up across the board, and also on a more focused market (as you can see from the screenshots above).
In our view, across the board Unibet is a mid-to-better value operator in terms of the odds on offer. They compared favourably with many of the best value operators in the industry across many markets, but were strong in terms of horse racing and soccer in particular.
This is illustrated by the odds offered by Unibet on the Liverpool v Crystal Palace market which showed that they offered the same value odds as bet365 for the main full time result market, and offered better odds than 888Sport across all three betting options.
As such, we’re confident that long term value through competitive odds is very much a strength of the Unibet site.

Occupying an eminent position on the site and visible when you load up the home page, football betting enjoys the spotlight at Unibet. Our review of the site found:
Outstanding Coverage: In terms of the depth of coverage for football around the world, Unibet provided a wealth of options from countries all over the globe and included a vast range of competitions to bet on for both the men’s and women’s game, plus Under 21 and Youth options too. There is also a good coverage of international football, again at all levels.
Lacking in Promotions: If we were to criticise Unibet’s football coverage it would be in the lack of promotions for the sport, or indeed for any other sport outside of horse racing.
Good value odds: As we mentioned earlier in the review, Unibet did well in terms of value when comparing the odds available with them on markets to those available with other bookmakers.
In our view, while the extensive coverage offered by Unibet is a big positive for the site, we do feel that this offer is diminished slightly by a lack of promotional offers in support of it.
Esports betting at Unibet
The site covers the major esports of League of Legends, Call of Duty, Dota 2, CS2, and Valorant and it does offer good coverage of competitions and fixtures for these events, both at the upper levels of esports gaming and those on the tier below.
Unibet Live betting
Unibet’s Live betting service is found on the Live Tab on the main site and from here you can access the full range of live betting available on the site.
The site does offer live streaming services across a range of sports with tennis, basketball and esports notable in terms of the volume of streams available on the site.
However, its full live betting coverage extends beyond these sports and also covers the likes of darts, badminton, football, baseball and table tennis amongst others.
An easy to access schedule makes navigating the options for forthcoming days very easy and is one of the better features of this In-Play betting part of the site.

Unibet customer support: our experience
The first port of call for Unibet customers to access is the Help section on the site. This is well organised and has clear headings which you can use to navigate to the help sections that are likely to be of most use to you.
We felt that this was certainly one of the better help sections you can access on a site to get help without the need to call or chat to somebody.
However, if you do need to speak to someone then Unibet also offers a Live Chat facility which is available 24/7. We found also the service to be quick and on-point in dealing with the most common queries.
We found the Customer Service options at Unibet effective, but we would have liked to see a more direct route to speak to customer services.
Security: Is Unibet safe and reliable?
Given that Unibet offers plentiful information about its security and privacy on site it is clear to see that the company strongly values the security of its customers data. All personal details are encrypted using the sites 128-bit SSL technology and sent just once over the internet.
The site also meets the standards of Payment Card Industries Data Security Standard and the European Gaming and Betting Association, offering further confidence in its security.
In terms of reliability, we have never encountered any issues with accessing the Unibet site either on mobile or through the main website. We’ve never experienced any down-time on the site and it is very rare for a connection to drop (and that is usually caused by non-site related factors, such as WiFi or loss of 5G connection).
So, we’re happy to put on record that we feel Unibet is as safe and reliable a site as you can join nowadays.
Our verdict on Unibet (reviewed in July 2026)
After completing our Unibet review in July 2026. We feel that Unibet has many positives for the typical user, but that there are a couple of caveats to remember if you are going to sign up.
Those caveats are a lack of promotions for non-racing sports, as well as a limited number of payment options. However, we feel that the benefits of being a Unibet customer significantly outweigh the negatives.
The site is clean, crisp, fast and reliable. It is easy to navigate, options are extensive across sports and markets and odds are good value. Add to that a simple to access welcome bonus and we feel Unibet is an excellent all-round site for the typical punter.
