Turkiye v Italy Betting Tips [11 June 2021]

Italy are back on the main stage after missing ou on the 2018 World Cup. They play the first match of Euro 2020 when taking on Turkey in Rome. The other two countries in this group are Wales an Switzerland. All three of Italy's group matches will be played on home soil.  Italy have to be seen as a good outsider that could go deep in this tournament. They have already made it to the Nations League finals and have no losses in their last 27 fixtures. Their last loss was in September 2018 and it's perhaps surprising not to see them higher up the betting. It's not just a long unbeaten record that they possess. Italy haven't conceded a goal in their last eight internationals. Their two warm-up friendlies were easily won, a 7-0 beating of San Marino and 4-0 home win over the Czech Republic. 

Turkey have had some good results of late. They started their bid to reach the 2022 World Cup with a 4-2 home win over the Netherlands. On their way to the Euro finals, they took four points off France so have to be respected. Their best form is shown at home though, away form isn't so hot. They are unbeaten in their last six games but five of those have been played at home. Away form has just one win in five, a 3-0 victory in Norway. Back Italy to get the win here.
