Jarry hasn't quite had that level of success in the US Open. He's in the third round for the first time in his career. Before this year he'd reached the second round just once with only two wins in seven matches. He has begun to show more consistency in Grand Slam events and this is the third in succession that he's reached round three. His best is a fourth round appearance at Roland Garros this year. The Chilean has dropped sets in both of his first two matches in this year's US Open with wins over Luca Van Assche and Alex Michelsen, both in four sets. Those wins have taken him up to 21st in the live rankings, a new career high. We believe his run will end here and go for de Minaur to win this match.
