The Netherlands were one of only three countries to win each of their three Euro 2020 group games. That won them Group C and now they take on the Czech Republic who finished third in Group D. That trio of victories means that they have now won their last four matches. 11 goals have been scored in those games and with eight in their group, the Netherlands are the top goal scorers so far. Wins came against Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia, not the hardest of groups. The winners of this match take on either Wales or Denmark in the last eight, so it's been a rather kind draw for them. The Netherlands are unbeaten in their last seven matches with only an away loss to Turkey in the last 13. After three group games on home soil, the Netherlands head to Budapest for this last sixteen match. They are hoping to make it to the last eight of the European Championships for the first time since 2008 and are the hot favourites to do just that.
The Czech Republic had a rather inconsistent time in Group D. They began well with a 2-0 win over Scotland and then went into half time against Croatia a goal up. That lead wasn't kept though and they ended up drawing 1-1. Their final group game ended in a 1-0 defeat to England with Schick unable to add to the three goals scored in the first two matches. The Czech Republic have only won two of their last seven internationals with the last three all having under 2.5 goals scored in them. Their last time in the last eight was 2012 but that wait looks like being extended. Go for the Netherlands to win this match.
