Tondela v Porto Betting Tips [10 April 2021]

Porto lost to Chelsea in the Champions League and now return to Primeira League action. They are second in the table and travel to ninth placed Tondela. Porto trail leaders Sporting by eight points but can close that gap to five with a win here as Sporting don't play until the following day. They are only four points ahead of fourth placed Braga, so need to keep winning to ensure Champions League qualification. Their last four league games have all been won with eight goals scored. That's taken their unbeaten run in the Primeira League to 19 games. With Sporting still undefeated in the league, closing the gap just hasn't been possible. Away form has produced eight league victories with their last three all won. 

Tondela gave Porto a great game in the reverse fixture, losing it 4-3. They are ninth in the league but that's 29 points behind Porto. More worrying, they are only six points above the relegation zone. Only one of their last four league games has been won, so they need to be careful over the remaining games of this season. Their home form has seen them win seven league matches with only three lost. Not that many goals though with 13 scored and ten conceded. Porto can be backed to win this match and put the pressure on Sporting.
