This is a vital game for both clubs after losing last weekend. Manchester United begin the weekend in seventh place and travel to Tottenham who are one place and a single point above them. For United, it's a case of picking themselves up off the floor after the appalling 5-0 home loss to Liverpool. That's left them eight points off the top of the Premier League, all but nine because of their vastly inferior goal difference. Somehow Solksjaer has to find a way to stop his side conceding. They have let in nine goals in their last two Premier League games and gone ten games in all competitions without keeping a clean sheet. Their long unbeaten away record in the Premier League disappeared, when losing 4-2 at Leicester earlier this month. Only Wolves have failed to score against United in the last six away Premier League games. On the flip side though, United have scored in eight of their last ten away Premier League fixtures. With Manchester City next to be faced, United could really do with getting something from this match.
Tottenham also lost last weekend, going down 1-0 at West Ham United. Nine Premier League games this season have seen them win five but lose four. Perhaps a first draw of the season is due? Tottenham have also had some bad days this season. After starting with three clean sheets, the last six in the Premier League has seen them concede at least twice in all but the loss at West Ham last weekend. It's not often a side is sixth in the Premier League but have a goal difference of -4. Tottenham are only six points off leaders Chelsea and two behind fourth placed West Ham. Only nine goals have been scored in as many Premier League games. Three out of four home league games have been won this season. The last four games between these two clubs have all seen both teams score. That's the tip for this match and have a side bet on a draw.
