PSG v Clermont Betting Tips [3 June 2023]

French champions PSG will have their final Ligue 1 game of another triumphant season at home to eighth placed Clermont. PSG bagged the title in their 1-1 draw with Strasbourg last time out. They haven't been great in recent home matches but they’ve lost just three in the league this season. Those three losses have come in the last five home matches. PSG will definitely want to sign off in style, though they don’t have much to play for here. Coming into this game, the champions have a four-game unbeaten run. They have three wins in the last four matches, but only one clean sheet in the last five. PSG have scored two or more goals in three of their last four games. Four of their last five have had over 2.5 goals. The past few games have been great for Kylian Mbappe – he’s scored six in the last five matches. Mbappe has also scored four times in three matches against Clermont.

Clermont have picked up well in the latter stages of the season. They will secure eighth place with a win here, otherwise, they could drop a place lower. The visitors face a side that has thrashed them in the three meetings between them. In that run, Clermont scored just once, but conceded 15 times. In their last meeting, Clermont lost 5-0 at home, but they come here with three wins in five matches. They’ve lost just once in their last nine matches and, notably, scored in each of their last 10 matches. Clermont have however failed to win in the last two away matches. The fact that they have just one away clean sheet in five, works against them heading to meet in-form Mbappe.
