Napoli have it all to do if they want to reach the last sixteen of the Europa League. They lost the first leg of this tie against Granada 2-0, so not even an away goal to boost their chances. Napoli haven't had a great deal of success in European football in recent years. The best they have managed in the past five season is a quarter final in this competition. They are in terrible form at present with four losses in their last five games with 11 goals conceded. Mind you, the other game was a 1-0 home win over Juventus, so they can still get good results. Four of those losses were on their travels. Home form is much better with five of the last six won and clean sheets in the last three. Napoli won their Europa League group finishing ahead of Real Sociedad. They won three of their group games, two against bottom side Rijeka and a vital 1-0 win at Sociedad. Only once in their last six games have they scored more than once. Six group games saw them score just seven goals, They need to rediscover the scoring touch they had in January, when scoring 15 goals in four home games.
Granada were in La Liga II a couple of seasons ago. After winning promotion they finished seventh in La Liga pipping Getafe on the final day to qualify for the Europa League. They were unbeaten in their first four Europa League group games and despite just a point from the last two matches, they finished second behind PSV. The win over Napoli was a surprising one considering their current form in La Liga. They lost at bottom-of-the-table Huesca at the weekend making it six league games without a win taking them down to ninth in the table. Granada have just two points from their last six away league games with only recent wins being in the Copa del Rey. Napoli can get the win here.
