Lille Osc v Marseille Betting Tips [3 October 2021]

Lille host Marseille on Matchday nine of Ligue 1 at Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Contrary to Lille’s lack of consistency, Marseille have been on a fine run of form in the new season. They travel to Lille on the back of a goalless draw at home against Galatasaray. Marseille have lost just a single game in nine fixtures across all competitions in the current season. They have been defensively resolute and managed to keep three clean sheets in their last fixtures in Ligue 1. Their only defeat in the season was to Lens at home with a 3-2 scoreline. Lille came on top when the two teams met back in March at Stade Pierre-Mauroy with a 2-0 scoreline but both the teams are very different in the current season. 

Lille have been a shadow of the side which won Ligue 1 in the previous season. They have struggled defensively and have been highly inconsistent when it comes to winning games in the current season. Marseille have been defensively resolute and have barely lost games in the current season. We are backing Marseille to win this fixture.
