Juventus have lost their Serie A title but are still hoping to qualify for the Champions League. Saturday ended with them in fourth place and they host Milan who are now in fifth. The top four go into the Champions League group stages but only one point separates second to fifth. One team is going to be disappointed but will it be Napoli (second), Atalanta (third) or Milan (fifth)? Napoli moved up to second on Saturday and are a point clear of the next three teams but from a game in hand. Juventus missing out on the Champions League would be a major step back for them. They are in good form though with seven points from three games since a loss to Atalanta. Home form remains strong with 13 wins from 17 league games this season and only two defeats. The last three have all been won, including a vital victory over Napoli. Juventus have the best home defensive record in Serie A but haven't been keeping many clean sheets of late. Both teams have scored in four of the last five home league matches and that includes two played against sides in the bottom seven. Their final two home league games are against Milan and Inter, so not the easiest of tasks.
Milan led the Serie A table for a fair while this season. They haven't been able to keep up the scorching pace that they set and are now fifth in the table. A form table for the last ten games has them only in sixth, though only three points less than Juventus. Two of their last three league matches have ended in defeat with losses to Sassuolo and Lazio. May got off to a good start though with a 2-0 home win over Benevento. Milan have the best away record in Serie A with 13 wins in 16 games. Three of their final four fixtures are on the road and they end the season with a trip to Atalanta. Milan have scored in all but two of their last 26 away league matches and in three of their last four league visits to Juventus. A bet on both teams scoring is the suggested wager on what should be a cracker of a game.
