Holsten Kiel are four points behind the second automatic promotion spot in Bundesliga II. Recent form has been a bit disappointing though and they need a home win against 11th placed Hannover. Kiel have this game in hand and can draw to within a point of second placed Hamburg and Greuther Furth who are third . They only have three more away games to play, two against sides in the bottom six, so they still have a good chance of either getting into the Bundesliga automatically or via the play-off.

Hannover have little chance of promotion and are ten points above the relegation zone. That's a good job considering their current form that has seen them go seven league games without a victory. Only four points have been earned from those games with the last two both lost. Their most recent game saw Hannover beaten 3-1 at home by Heidenheim who are a place below Holsten Kiel. Just a single point has come from Hannover's last three games and all have been at home. Away form has seen them get four points from their last four league fixtures. The only win came at Eintracht Braunschweig who are one place above the relegation zone. They have won four away matches this season in Bundesliga II with seven matches lost. Go for that to become eight with a home win here. A side bet on a home win with both teams scoring looks good too.
