Not since February of last year have Everton won three consecutive Premier League matches. They are in 11th place and host Manchester United who are sixth but only two points ahead of Everton. The home side made a shaky start to the season with only four points from their first six league games. They have turned it around though with two wins over West Ham and Southampton. Everton are now unbeaten in their last six Premier League games, having drawn the four before the first two league wins of the season. Home form has seen them only two of their last ten home league games lost and they are currently on a three game unbeaten run. There's a lack of goals at Goodison and in the last seven home league games, Everton have scored just one goal. 10 of the last 12 home Everton league games have seen under 2.5 goals scored, including each of the last four.
Manchester United have conceded 14 goals in their seven Premier League matches this season. However, 10 of those came in the games against Brentford and Manchester City. They remain inconsistent and need to bounce back from that 6-3 loss at City last weekend. Everton don't have anything like Foden or Haaland so their defence may fare far better this weekend. Aside from the two heavy losses, they have had away league wins at Southampton and Leicester City, both won by 1-0 scorelines. A bet on under 2.5 goals in this game looks a possible winner.
