Chelsea stopped their two-match losing streak with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa. That makes it seven wins in their last nine Premier League matches for the Blues. The visitors are a comfortable six points above the chasing pack in fourth, but Frank Lampard can’t take things easily. Their scoring attack has been consistent in scoring goals and have already netted 30 this season. Contrary to the form that other teams exhibit, Chelsea have been impressive away from home this campaign. They have won five of seven away league games. In each of their wins, Chelsea have scored at least twice, although they have conceded in every game. Indeed, both teams scoring goals has been a consistent feature for Chelsea – in each of their last six away Premier League matches.

Chelsea at one point have been challenging for the second spot, but back-to-back losses have pulled them down. With a midweek win, the Blues are now back in control and look set to continue their winning ways. Everton, on the other hand, have been moving from one danger to another. The ‘Toffees’ are hurtling towards the relegation zone and manager Marco Silva is under heavy pressure to improve. This game, however, remains a challenge and might not see an Everton win.
