The upcoming Europa League quarter-final fixture against Napoli should not be a distraction for Arsenal (fourth, 63 points) ahead of their Premier League visit to Everton (tenth, 43 points). The Goodison Park faithful will hope that their side can make it three wins in a row, as they come to this game on the back of just one loss in five league fixtures (W3, D1, L1). The Toffees are four points behind the seventh-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers and have an outside chance of finishing in the European spots. Everton are in great form in these matches, with four clean sheets in these last five matches, including one in the Merseyside derby. Playing at home, however, the Toffees have struggled in the recent matches, winning just two of their last nine Premier League home fixtures (W2, D3, L4). Arsenal come into this game with five wins in their last six league fixtures (W5, D1) including two on the trot. They are now firmly in control of their top-four chances, considering Manchester United are nearly out of the race and Spurs are just one point ahead having played one game extra. Away from home, however, Arsenal have struggled this Premier League season managing just one win in their last eight trips (W1, D3, L4)
This is one of the toughest remaining fixtures for Arsenal, even considering their upcoming Europa League game against Napoli. They weren’t able to defeat a side in the top-half of the table this season, but will be tough to beat. Everton will have hopes of continuing their charge towards top-seven, hoping for slip-ups.
