Here they come desperate for a win, having managed 48 points so far. Their tally is keeping them 11 points behind fourth place and they’ll view this as a must win game. Their shaky defence has a tougher task out there, after Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof joined the growing injury list. The duo left early in the 1-1 draw with Brentford, a result that was equally frustrating, United conceding deep in stoppage time. Mason Mount got his first United goal in the sixth minute of added time, but the lead lasted just three minutes. With just three clean sheets in 10 matches, United will hope to do better against a fine scoring Chelsea side. Erik ten Hag will however be happy with his side’s scoring form, having netted in each of the last 15 matches. In half of their last 10 away matches, they scored more than a goal. Manchester United are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Chelsea, but only won the last two.
