Besiktas have won each of their last three matches including their two previous Super Lig games leaving them in second place just three points off league-leaders Galatasaray but they do have a game in hand. Standing in their way on this occasion is relegation-threatened Denzilispor who did manage to pick up their fifth win of the campaign with a 1-0 victory over the side placed bottom of the league in Genclerbirligi. The visitors however, will travel to Vodafone Park in 19th place and four points from safety. Denizlispor have picked up just nine points out of a possible 36 on the road this season and their poor form on the road has plunged them into the immediate danger. The away team have however, managed to win two of their last five matches but on the road, they are without a win in five and have won just one of their last nine as well as losing five of those games including each of their last three.
As for Besiktas they have won seven of their last 10 league fixtures to leave them immersed in a competitive title race with old foes Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Just three points separate the three teams but Besiktas have played a game less than each of their rivals. Besiktas have the best attack in the league having scored 53 times in 24 matches and at home they have statistically been the best side in the division dropping just eight points after 12 games and have conceded just seven times when hosting.
