Atalanta v Fiorentina Betting Tips [10 February 2022]

Atalanta have a tough home game against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia quarter finals, with both tams looking to bounce back from losses in their previous outings. For Atalanta, an extra incentive here will be to avenge their 2-1 loss to Fiorentina in their league meeting earlier. In their last match, Atalanta were beaten 2-1 by Cagliari, their first defeat in five matches and they will be keen to bounce back. For a side that has been to two Coppa Italia finals in the last three campaigns, Atalanta will feel they need to do more this season, to add on to the one Coppa Italia title they won in 1963. An area they will really be banking on is their attack, and Daniel Zapata will be crucial here, having scored four in the last four meetings with Fiorentina. Atalanta had three straight wins prior to that, and Fiorentina will also not have their main man in attack in the recent years, Vlahovic, who has joined Juventus. The last nine meetings between these two teams have produced over 2.5 goals and eight of Fiorentina’s last 10 matches have also produced over 2.5 goals.

These two teams aren’t coming from very good runs in their recent matches but with their style of football, this should be an exciting game. Their previous meetings have been really high scoring and with both looking to bounce back, we expect the same here thus we will go for over 2.5 goals again.
