Arsenal continue their bid to win the Europa League but need to bounce back from some poor results. They host Slavia Prague in the first leg of this quarter final and they are no strangers to British shores this season. Arsenal had been going ok with a run of four wins and a draw. It's all gone a bit wrong since then with home losses to Olympiakos and Liverpool and a 3-3 draw at West Ham. They did well to get that draw after going 3-0 down in the first half. Arsenal had won four home Europa League games this season before losing to Olympiakos for the second season in a row. They had scored at least three goals in those four home wins but only against Dundalk have they kept a home clean sheet. Of their ten games in the Europa League this season, seven have seen both teams get on the scoresheet.
Slavia Prague have already beaten Leicester City and Glasgow Rangers in this season's Europa League. Now they aim to make it a hat-trick of wins over British clubs by knocking out Arsenal. The winners of this tie take on either Dinamo Zagreb or Villarreal in the semi-finals. The Czech Republic side are 14 points clear at the top of their domestic league so will be heading into the Champions League next season. Slavia have won both of their Europa League away games this season by a 2-0 final score. They also scored in their away loss to Midtjylland in the Champions League. Before this season's Europa League games, five of their last six away games in this competition had seen both teams score. Arsenal had scored in their last 13 home Europa League games before losing 1-0 to Olympiakos. They will go all out for goals here but their opponents have already shown how good they can be on the road, go for both teams to score.
