Their record of playing at home is even more impressive, with Salzburg unbeaten at home in the Europa League since losing 1-0 to Nice in October 2016.

Eintracht followed their 4-1 win in the first-leg with a 2-1 loss to Union Berlin in Bundesliga highlighting their inconsistencies. Eintracht have now lost seven of their last 14 competitive fixtures, winning only five. However, those five wins have come in their last eight matches during the sequence. The first-leg win in the Europa League made it the 13th game in a row that Eintracht’s continental matches have seen a winner. Even on the road, Eintracht haven’t seen a draw in six Europa League road trips. The German visitors will be confident of sealing their progression, as they have lost only one Europa League fixture by a margin of three goals.

RB Salzburg have been scoring goals for fun and have already scored aplenty in the Champions League. However, the departure of top-scorer Haaland has robbed them of striking power in the continental competition. Eintracht Frankfurt would be looking to make the most of their first-leg lead and play out a tight game. The hosts might pocket a win, but it is the visitors who are likely to progress.
