Third placed Rangers can go into the qualification places with a home win over Sparta Prague who are second. Rangers are only behind their opponents in Europa League Group C on goals scored. Top of the table are Real Betis two points of Rangers and Sparta with Aris Limassol trailing in last place but only a point adrift. The Scottish Premiership side are unbeaten in their last six games and their managerial change has turned their season around. So far in this Europa League group their only win so far was a 1-0 home win over the group leaders. Home form has seen Rangers win five of their last six games, the other being a home loss to Aberdeen. They have gone seven home Europa League games without defeat. Two Champions League games were played at home earlier in the season with a win and a draw.
Slavia Prague were held to a goalless draw by Rangers in the reverse fixture. They could have done with winning that game as two of their last three group games are on the road. Their only win to date in this group was a 3-2 home win over Aris Limassol. One away game has been played and Sparta led in that match at Real Betis after just three minutes but ended up losing 2-1. They top the Czech Liga but have lost two of their last four away fixtures with seven goals conceded. 11 of their last 13 away Europa League games have been lostĀ and without a win in eight Champions League matches. They'llĀ hope to repeat the form that saw them win at Celtic three years ago but we tip resurgent Rangers to get a narrow win.
