Juventus are still in with a chance of retaining their Serie A title. They are third and this weekend host Lazio who are seventh in the table. A 3-0 home win over Spezia on Monday was the sixth successive home league win. No goals have been conceded in the last four on home soil. Up at the other end of the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in five of the last six home league fixtures. The combination of an in-form Ronaldo and a tight defence still gives Juventus some hope of another title. It's going to be difficult though with Inter going ten points clear of Juventus after winning at Parma on Thursday evening. The two clubs meet in their penultimate fixture, Juventus will hope to still be in title contention then.
Lazio's midweek Serie A game was postponed due to illness in the Torino camp. They remain seventh in the table, a point behind the Europa Conference League position. Six points separate Lazio and the final Champions League place, but they do have a game in hand. Lazio lost at Bologna last weekend, that was their fourth away league loss of the season and the second in a row following a 3-1 loss at Inter. Only two of their last seven on the road have been won by Lazio. Another defeat is on its way, back Juventus to win this match.
