Second placed Internacional continue to try and narrow the eight-point gap between them and leaders Palmeiras. They host 13th placed Bragantino who struggle on the road. Internacional have the third best home record in Serie A with eight wins, four draws and a 3-2 loss to Botafogo after leading 2-0 in 14 minutes. The have played seven home league games since then and have won six of them, including the last four by an aggregate score of 11-0. That's helped them become the top home goal scorers in Serie A.
Bragantino are in 13th place but 12th will take them into the group stages of the next Copa Suadamericana tournament. They are only behind the final qualifying position on head-to-head results with Santos. Bragantino have gone seven league matches without a win, though three of the last four have been drawn. Away form is a worry though with only two wins in 13 league fixtures this season. Four of the last five have ended in defeat and it's hard to see them turning that form around in this game. Back Internacional to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
