However, a key element in any review is to check out the quality and usability of its main interface, the 22Bet website and mobile apps.

There are lots of positives with the 22Bet website. It is bright, colourful and easy to follow, using a main central column alongside two smaller columns on the left and right. The main tabs at the top of the screen offer access to the site's main sections.

Its blue and white background is easy on the eye and the site is also intuitive to navigate.

Many of the additional features of the site are located in the “More” tab, while the Live Betting options, both for sports and casino games, are extensive and also very well-presented.

Add to that a mixture of offers that are suited to both beginner games, such as the Welcome Offer, and more experienced users, such as the VIP Casino Cashback or the Wednesday Cash Splash offers, which makes it a perfect site for all users.

Outright betting is a popular longer-term bet on the outright winner of a tournament, race or event. Bets can be placed many weeks, months or even years before the event takes place. The great news is that we found 22Bet offers an extensive range of these betting options under the Long-term Bets tab on the website and the Outright Bets tab on the mobile app.

Outright markets at 22Bet are not just limited to betting on the race winner or competition. For example, in the Champions League, you can bet on the team to win the competition overall, as well as the team to win the League Stage and which players will be the top goalscorers and top assists in the competition too.

It should be noted though, that finding outright bets on the website when compiling this review was not easy. It is much easier via the mobile app through its dedicated outright bets section. Furthermore, there are relatively fewer outright betting markets at 22Bet than there are with other operators.

We found that while 22Bet excels in offering markets for individual sporting fixtures, races etc, its outright betting options were limited in comparison.

We found that the odds from 22Bet were a good mix of around the average for key markets, with many options offering slightly better value that compared well with other bookmakers and a roughly equal number that were below value. Check out the screens below to see what we mean.

In the screenshot above, you can see that 22Bet can be considered as being in the middle of the road compared with the other bookmakers in its odds for the markets in the Liverpool v Ipswich Town game. The most popular options include football, basketball, tennis and esports.

While the range of sports available for live betting is not as extensive as other sites, the markets available per fixture offer a wealth of betting opportunities. Meaning punters can usually find a bet they would like to back when following the action in-play.

If 22Bet does not offer live streaming for an event, there is the option to follow the action through their live tracker. This is one of the most useful aspects of the Live betting service with 22Bet as it offers the stats and data needed to make better-informed live bets when the match is in action.

In football for example, you can gain access to data by clicking on one of the four links at the top of the fixture in-play betting page. This brings up information about the game, teams competing, odds data and much more, all of which is useful for a live bettor to know.

The same is true for other sports, such as basketball and tennis, where equally pertinent data can be found for the teams or individuals competing in these events.

It should be noted that live-streaming options are somewhat limited, apart from esports with excellent live-streaming coverage. Live streaming is also only available on the website, not on the Mobile Apps.

Cash-out

The option to cash out a bet before it has run its course has recently become a popular addition to many betting sites.

22Bet offers a full cash-out only; we didn’t find a partial cash-out option.

With a full cash-out at 22Bet, eligible bets that are in running will be offered a cash amount to be cashed out at that particular moment.

Don’t wait too long, though. If something happens to one of the selections you have backed, that price may be suspended, and a new price may be offered!

If you are happy with the cash-out offer, click the button to accept the price. The funds will be transferred to your account, and your bet will be completed immediately. We found this to be a particularly painless process at 22bet.

Cash-out is not available on all bet types and markets. However, if a bet you place qualifies for the offer, you should be eligible for a cash-out while the bet is in progress.

The Sell Your Bet Slip (or Bet Slip Sale) feature also offers a similar option to cashing out an eligible bet at any point before it is completed.

Choice of Bet Types

We found the choice of bet types available at 22Bet to be one of its more appealing aspects.

Sure, you can make all the usual types of single bets, but many other types of bets are also available. They include:

Accumulator Bets - The ever-popular accumulator or “acca” bet.
System Bets - A bet comprising of several accumulators of the same size. All winning accumulators are added up to calculate the final payout.
Chain Bets - A bet type where the order of the selections on the bet slip is critical to creating a chain. Each previous bet that wins rolls over onto the next bet in the chain.
Multibets - A bet comprising of a mix of singles and accumulator bets. This bet may include one or more Lobby selection(s), which is a bet that must win in order for the Multibet to be a winner.
Conditional Bets - Similar to a chain bet, but with this bet, you can decide how much of your winnings is placed on the next bet in the block of bets.
Anti-Accumulator Bet - We found this concept of backing a selection to lose for the accumulator to win, very interesting and an exciting new twist to betting on multiple selections.
Patent Bets - Patent bets of three to eight selections are permitted, covering all possible multiple bets for the number of selections chosen.
Lucky Bets - You can make Lucky bets on two to eight selections. All possible multiple bets are covered and each option is also backed as a single bet.

The 22Bet Casino service offers a choice of Live Casino games, including popular casino classics such as Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Poker, alongside a range of other games including Crash Games, Dragon Tiger, Speed Games and Game Show-styled games.

Alongside the Live Casino aspect, there is also a wide range of slot games available under the Slots tab. This features a wide range of slots, including new slots, progressive jackpot games, buy-the-feature slots, and more besides.
