Wolfsburg v Eintracht Frankfurt Betting Tips [30 May 2020]

A 4-1 victory at Bayer Leverkusen helped VfL Wolfsburg maintain their sixth place position for yet another week. They are now set to take on 14th team Eintrancht Frankfurt as the Bundesliga enters its 29th round. Wolfsburg occupy the second Europa League qualification slot and could  secure a Champions League position if they win all their remaining matches. However, a realistic goal for them is to finish among the top six. Frankfurt, the visitors, are seven points from the automatic relegation positions and will have to be extra vigilant to avoid the drop. The win at Bayer Leverkusen was Wolfsburg's third in six league matches and their eleventh overall. However, the team's home form is not encouraging as they only have won twice in seven league fixtures. Wolfsburg only managed two cleansheets in their last seven home matches and with Frankfurt being eager to see of the relegation threat hovering above their heads, it is likely that they will slot at least one goal past Wolfsburg's keeper. 

Meanwhile, Frankfurt's draw at Freiburg extended their winless streak to six league games. But team's performance in the match proved their commitment to surviving the league as they came from behind twice to secure the draw. Still, it will take manager Adi Hutter  a superior strategy to emerge from this match with a victory as his side has been struggling in away matches, winning just once in nine league fixtures. In addition, all of Frankfurt's last nine away games ended with at least one goal from the opponent, indicating that this game has a strong possibility of having the hosts on the score sheet. This is reinforced by the fact that Wolfsburg have only lost once to Frankfurt in six head to head league games.

Wolfsburg are having a better season compared to Frankfurt and are now intent on pursuing a European finish. The visitors, on their part, are viciously fighting relegation and will come into this match eyeing a kill. We expect both teams to score in the game and the total tally to exceed two goals.
