Ahead of this encounter, Bayern have eight straight wins against Wolfsburg and haven’t lost to them in 15 straight games. Bayern have however been lackluster since beating Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga title. They’ve conceded five goals in the last two matches and have just one clean sheet in the last five matches. Each of their last four matches has produced over 2.5 goals and both teams have scored in four of their last five games. The champions have lost just twice in the last 10 away league matches and have scored in each of the last 50 away matches in the league.

Bayern Munich haven’t had much incentive to keep winning after bagging the Bundesliga title. It will be the same case here, as they have nothing much to play for, though by their run against Wolfsburg we don’t see them losing here. One stat we expect will come up here is both sides scoring, going by the two sides’ recent performances.
