West Ham v Leeds Betting Tips [8 March 2021]

This is the last match of the Premier League weekend.  West Ham begin this set of games in sixth place and look to get a home win over Leeds who are 11th in the Premier League. The Hammers could be as low as eighth by the time this game starts. That will happen if Liverpool and Tottenham win this weekend. They begin the weekend two points behind fourth placed Chelsea but with a game in hand. It's a good position for the Hammers who at this time of year are usually trying to recover from a poor start to the season. It takes a decent team to beat them this season. Their last four league defeats have been inflicted on them by the two Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Chelsea. They lost 2-1 at Manchester City last weekend, ending a run of ten points from four games. At home, West Ham have won four of the last five league games.

Leeds United look unlikely to qualify for European football but are in no danger of relegation. It's been a strange first season back in the Premier League with some good results and a few bad defeats. They lost to Aston Villa in midweek and that was their third loss in four league matches. Five of their last eight away league games have ended in defeat. It's either one or the other with Leeds on their Premier League travels. Six have been won and seven lost, time for a draw soon surely?  West Ham are in good fom and with home advantage can be backed to win this match.
