Ligue 1 leaders, PSG, will look to confirm their title defense when they face 15th-placed Strasbourg on Saturday. This is the penultimate match of the Ligue 1 season, and PSG leads Lens in second by six points. Strasbourg are on 39 points, six points above relegation, and need just one point from their final two matches to guarantee their survival. A draw or better here will secure PSG their 11th league title before their final-day home fixture against Clermont. PSG won their last match 2-1 over Auxerre, which extended their winning run to three matches. The champions-elect have lost just one in their last seven matches while winning the other six. Les Parisiens have been good on the road this season, with a record of 14 wins, one draw, and just three losses in 18 games. They come into this match on a six-match winning streak in away matches dating back to early February. PSG won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in December, taking their record to nine unbeaten against this opponent. Les Rouge et Bleu look set to keep the title in Paris this season. 

Strasbourg have fallen a long way from last season when they finished sixth. They were involved in the relegation scrap for a large part of the season but now have a six-point cushion, a decent goal difference advantage, and Auxerre between themselves and the drop. However, they aren’t mathematically safe yet, but a point from this match will guarantee them safety ahead of their last match of the season against Lorient. The hosts could also be guaranteed safety if Nantes fail to win their match against Lille, which will be played at the same time as this one. Strasbourg played out a 1-1 draw to Troyes last week, which extended their unbeaten run to three matches. They’ve only been beaten once in their last six matches while winning four and drawing one. The host's home form has been relatively poor this season, with a record of five wins, six draws, and seven losses in 18 games. However, it is worth noting that all five of their home wins came in their last seven matches. Le Racing have been outscored 26-12 in their last nine matches against this opponent and are unlikely to get anything from this one.

Needing just one point in their final two fixtures, PSG looks set to earn another domestic title this season. They’ve been excellent on the road in these final weeks, and against an opponent they’ve gotten the better of in recent times, it’s hard to see anything but a win for Les Parisiens in this one.
