German fans won't need reminding that the last time these two countries played each other, Spain won 6-0. That was only two years ago and Spain have only lost one of their last seven games against the Germans over a period of 19 years. That includes a 1-0 win in the 2010 World Cup finals. Another win for Spain is the suggested bet for this game.

All the pressure is on Germany in this match. They will be hoping that somehow Costa Rica avoid defeat against Japan earlier in the day. If not, then the Germans will be in real danger of being eliminated. They took the lead against Japan but their opponents simply never gave up. Germany keep on conceding goals and if ever they needed a clean sheet, it's in this game. While the Germans lost their opening match, Spain easily beat Costa Rica 7-0. That will have massively boosted their confidence and they can get a second win here.
