Irish side Shamrock Rovers have a good chance of making it to the Europa League play-off round. They won the home leg 3-1 and now travel to Shkupi for the second leg. The winners of this tie face a side dropping out of the Champions League for a place in the group stages. Shamrock Rovers (who are top of the Irish League) were never behind in the first leg but a 97th minute goal put them in a lot stronger position for this second leg. Not since the 2011/12 season have they reached the Europa League group stages. They began this season in the Champions League but after beating Hibernians, they lost to Ludogorts Razgrad. Five of their last six home European games have been won but on their travels, it's one win in nine. There has been a win and a draw in the last four though.
Shkupi are in the third qualifying round of a European competition for the first time. The Macedonians also began this season in the Champions League and beat Lincoln Red Imps before being kocked out by Dinamo Zagreb. They have never won an away game in European competitions so the first leg loss wasn't a surprise. At home, they won two out of six but both wins came against lesser opposition in the first qualifying round. Go for a double chance bet on Shamrock in this game.
