Fourth placed Sheffield United look to maintain their 100 per cent home league record. They host Blackburn Rovers who top the table but lost their unbeaten record last week. United are two poonts behind Rovers after they beat Sunderland 2-1 at home in midweek. Their season began with a 1-0 loss at Watford but they then defeated Millwall 2-0 at home with both their goals coming in the first half. Twice they led at Middlesbrough but vame home with a 2-2 draw. Again they hit two goals in the first half against Sunderland on Wednesday makimg it four wins from their last five home Championship games, the other being the play-pff loss to Nottingham Forest.
Blackburn Rovers got their season off to a great start with three consecutive league wins. A home win over QPR was followed by a convincing 3-0 win at Swansea City. They completed a hat-trick of league wins with a 3-1 home victory over West Brom who have made a disappointing start to the season. Their 100 per cent record disappeared when they lost 3-0 away at Reading. If they are to make a promotion bid they need to improve their away record. Only three of the last 15 away league games have been won. Sheffield United are a tough team to beat at home, back them to get the win here.
