Senegal v Guinea Betting Tips [14 January 2022]

Guinea beat Malawi 1-0 in their opening game and will be seeking another win here to book their second round slot. They weren’t comfortable against Malawi and only prevailed thanks to Malawi’s lack of composure in attack. The win over Malawi only gave Guinea a second win in their last 10 AFCON matches and here they meet one of the top performers at the big stage. Which will call for more. They have two clean sheets only in 17 AFCON matches, these coming against very low ranking teams – Malawi and Burundi. Here Guinea will have to be at their best as they take on the best ranked side in Africa.

Senegal struggled to break down Zimbabwe in the last game but eventually did in stoppage time. They will be eyeing a better performance against Guinea, who themselves struggled against Malawi. Guinea haven’t done quite well lately and on the strength of recent form, we will back Senegal to win here.
