Stade Rennais come into the Paris fixture with an encouraging 2-1 win over Vitesse in the Conference League. They are now on a three-game unbeaten streak and will be happy to bring that confidence into the Paris fixture. However, Stade Rennais have defensive concerns of their own. They just have one clean sheet in their last eight fixtures across all competitions. Things are not that rosy if Stade Rennais’ overall form in the season is taken into account as well. They have just one win in their last five matches in Ligue 1. The two teams played out a 1-1 draw back in May at Stade Rennais. 

Paris Saint-Germain have a barrage of superstars playing for them. They might not have managed the kind of astronomical wins as was expected before the season, but they have been winning every single game so far in Ligue 1.
