The Championship has its first full set of fixtures since the second week of November. Reading are 13th in the table and only a place behind their visitors Coventry City with just goal difference separating them. It seems that the Championship is always a tight division and that's the case this season. These two teams may be in the bottom half of the table but they are just two points behind the final promotion play-off spot. However, they're also only six points above the relegation zone so how they get on in the next few weeks will be vital for them. Reading made a bright start to the new season but were struggling in October and November. They won their last league game at Hull but before that had lost six of their last eight league games. A form guide for the last 10 league games has only Wigan below them. Home form has seen them win six out of 10 league fixtures with three matches lost. Two of the last three on home soil have been lost.
Coventry City might not even have home soil soon. They are facing eviction from their home ground so that needs sorting out. They had problems with their pitch at the start of the season but were in good form when the international break began. Coventry had won four successive league games and all with clean sheets. Three of those games were played at home. Away form has produced three league wins with four draws and three losses. They had no victories in their first seven away league fixtures but have since won three in a row. Coventry haven't conceded in their last five away league matches after conceding 11 in the previous four. Go for them to win this match.
