Pacos Ferreira v Porto Betting Tips [29 June 2020]

Pacos de Ferreira host league leaders FC Porto in the Portuguese League on Monday night and they will be looking to pull further clear of the drop zone with a win at home. The hosts are 12th in the league table right now, seven points clear of the bottom two. Meanwhile, Porto are three points clear in first place and they will be hoping to go all the way and clinch the title this summer.

Pacos de Ferreira are heading into this game on the back of just two wins in their last six home games, though both those wins have come in the last three played. Current form is good with three wins in the last four league matches since the season resumed. The other was a 1-0 loss at third-placed Sporting Lisbon. A form guide for the last five league fixtures has them in third place, earning a point more than their opponents.

Meanwhile, Porto have only one defeat in their last 11 league games. They were behind Benfica in the title race but are now three points clear at the top. Benfica play at Maritimo before Porto  take to the pitch on Monday. The two sides could be level on points by the time the league leaders kick-off. Porto will be under pressure to perform and they cannot afford to slip up at this crucial juncture of the title race. Porto's only recent loss was in the first game played at Famalicao in their first game back since the season was suspended. Since then, they have won two and drawn one without conceding a goal. Their last two away league games have only produced a single point at Aves and they are bottom of the table. That being said, Porto have won nine out of 14 away league games this season with only two defeats.  Fiive in a row had been won since that loss at Famalicao, they need to recapture that form away from home.

Porto are the better team here and they have the better set of players. However, their recent away form has not been up to the mark. On the other hand, Pacos de Ferreira have done well since the restart. The hosts have been involved in some high scoring games recently. They have been poor at the back and Porto are coming into this game on the back of a 4-0 win. Over 2.5 goals could be on the cards here.
