Marseille battled back well in the first leg of this Europa Conference League semi-final against Feyenoord. They trailed 2-0 early on but returned home with only a 3-2 defeat and are still in with a chance of meeting either Leicester City or Roma in the final. The French side began this season in the Europa League but could only finish third in their group behind Galatasaray and Lazio but were unbeaten at home. Transferred into the Europa Conference League, Marseille won six games in a row against Qarabag, Basel and PAOK scoring 13 goals, before losing at Feyenoord. They are second in Ligue 1 but lost 3-0 at home to Lyon at the weekend and could yet slip out of the Champions League qualification places. They had won five home games in a row before being beaten by Lyon. Eight of their last 12 home games have seen both teams score.
Feyenoord are third in the Dutch Eredvisie but seven points behind PSV who occupy the second and final Champions League place. They won 3-1 at Fortuna Sittard at the weekend and that was their fifth win in a row. In their last 13 games, their only loss was to current Dutch Eredvisie league leaders Ajax. One characteristic of Feyenoord is they continually get on the scoresheet but can't keep clean sheets. The last 14 games they have played have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. This is their 18th game in the Europa Conference League with only one match lost and since the loss at Elfsborg, they have gone 11 games unbeaten. The last ten have all seen both teams score and away from home, Feyenoord have scored 12 goals in the last four. Go for both teams to score in this match and have a side bet on over 2.5 goals being scored.
