Bournemouth top the Championship table and travel to Luton Town who are 16th in the table. The Cherries are a point ahead of Fulham (who have a game in hand) and three clear of Blackburn Rovers. Blackburn are at Cardif at the same time as this match and could go top, though they are six behind on goal difference. Bournemouth have won their last three games, two in the Championship and then an FA Cup win at Yeovil Town last weekend. That's a bit of a recovery as they had gone six league games without a win before beating QPR and Cardiff City. The away win at QPR followed a run of four without a win on the road, but before that they'd won six of the last eight. September saw Bournemouth win the reverse fixture against Luton 2-1.
Luton are 10 points above the relegation zone but 11 behind the final promotion play-off position. Due to postponements though, they do have four games in hand on sixth placed Huddersfield Town. Luton beat League Two Harrogate Town 4-0 in the FA Cup last weekend. That was their first match since coming from behind to draw 1-1 at home with Fulham on December 11. Their form wasnt good at that stage with only one win in six league fixtures. Their last ten home games in the Championship have only produced three wins. Two of the last three on home soil have been lost so making up the gap between them and the top six isn't looking likely. Back Bournemouth to get an away win here.
