Juventus survived a scare when they overcame a 1-0 deficit against Lokomotiv Moscow in Turin a fortnight ago thanks to a brilliant brace by Paulo Dybala. The Argentinian’s double gave the Italian giants the win as they went top of Group D on head-to-head away goals with seven points over Atletico Madrid.
The hosts are in third with three points and look good for at least a Europa League Round of 32 place. Moscow have also acquired 30 points in the Russian Premier League, three off top spot and drew 1-1 in domestic action at the weekend leaving them winless in three.
Juventus meanwhile were 1-0 winners away at city rivals Torino 1-0 on Friday night thanks to Mathijis De Ligt’s scoring his first goal for the club. The Serie A title-holders remain unbeaten this season with 11 wins and three draws and on the road their record is four win with three draws.
The Russians have just two home wins in their last five and conceded eight times in that period whereas the visitors have won three of their last four trips on the road and have only been held scoreless once on their travels this season.
Juventus should have too much for their hosts here and their inconsistent home record. For value I think our best bet here is for an away win and under 2.5 goals.
