Leaders Arsenal travel to eighth placed Liverpool looking to win a 12th away Pemier league match of the season. Away form has often been a problem for the Gunners but they start the weekend having won three more on the road than any other side. They are currently eight points clear at the top of the table but that lead is likely to be cut to five points with a Manchester City win at Southampton on Saturday. Arsenal had a poor patch of form at the start of the year but are back at their best now. Their last seven games in the Premier League have all been won with 24 goals put past their opponents. Seven of their last eight away league games have been won, the other a 1-0 loss at Everton. They have had some heavy defeats at Anfield in recent years but this side now looks far stronger and that can't really be said about their opponents.
Liverpool start this Easter weekend ten points behind the Champions League places. It could be 13 by the time this game begins on Sunday and even a Europa League spot is seven points away at present. Midweek saw them draw 0-0 at Chelsea, a bit better than the 4-1 drubbing they received at Manchester City last Saturday. They have gone four league and cup games without a win, with three of them being lost. Home form is still strong though with nine wins and only Leeds going home from Anfield with three points. Just nine home league goals have been conceded this season, compared to 24 on the road. Three of the last four home Premier League games have been won and clean sheets kept in all of them. This won't be easy for Arsenal because of Liverpool's strong home form so we go for a double chance on the Gunners to win or draw.
