The bottom two in the English Premier League meet in this midlands derby. Bottom of the table Leicester City can climb above 19th placed Nottingham Forest if winning on Monday. Both managers are in danger of losing their job, particularly Brendan Rodgers. Leicester were going well in their opening league game when 2-0 ahead at home to Brentford. Little could they have imagined that after seven games they'd only have one point and be three points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League. 22 goals have been conceded in their seven games and 11 in the last couple of matches. Now they host Forest and then at the weekend travel to Bournemouth. These are games they need to be getting points from or Rodgers will be looking for another club. Home form has seen Leicester draw with Brentford (after giving away that lead) but lose to Southampton (after leading) and Manchester United.
Nottingham Forest have only won one of their seven Premier League games this season. That was at home to West Ham who are the other team in the bottom three at the start of the weekend. Forest have changed their team about so much and it will take them a while to gel, if at all. The win over West Ham was followed by a 1-1 draw at Everton, conceding a late goal. Since then, Forest have lost four successive league games and three were played on home soil. They led Bournemouth 2-0 and Fulham 1-0 but lost both those games 3-2. Forest now have three games against fellow midlands clubs with Aston Villa at home and Wolves away following this trip to Leicester. Both of these clubs need points, stop conceding goals and learn how to keep leads. Go for both teams to score in this game.
