Juventus v Udinese Betting Tips [15 January 2020]

Italian Serie A leaders Juventus host Udinese in the fifth round of the Coppa Italia this midweek. 

Juventus continue to lead the top tier league after nineteen games of which they have only lost once. The team beat Roma 2-1 in their most recent match, a game that saw Demiral and Ronaldo score a goal each.

At home, Juve are playing quite well and have won five of their last six games; they only lost to Lazio in the Italian Super Cup in December when Dybala's goal was insufficient to counter strikes by Alberto, Lulic and Cataldi. Four of Juventus' last six home games ended with four or more goals. 

Visitors Udinese, who are twelfth in the Serie A standings, will be travelling on the back of a 3-0 win, with Okaka, Sema and De Paul netting the goals. 

On the road, Udinese are struggling and have only won once in six games, although they have managed to score in all but one their last six away games. Five of the team's last six away games have also ended in over 2.5 goals. 

When it comes to head to head pairings, Udinese continue to struggle against Juventus against whom they have lost the last five games, including a 3-1 loss in the first round of the Serie A. 

Juventus are an Italian powerhouse and Udinese certainly go into this match as the underdogs. We do not see a possibility of Udinese winning this match and a draw is also quite unlikely. Backing Juventus is the straight-forward recommendation but for more value, we would go with a total of three or more goals by the end of regulation time.
