This comes after a run of seven matches where they failed to win a game, drawing three and losing four. Başakşehir conceded just once in their last two league games, but still have one of the worst defensive records in the division. The hosts have conceded 28 goals already which is the joint-fourth worst record. Başakşehir have a slightly better home record, losing just once in their last seven home league games – winning three and drawing three.
Sivasspor defeated Gaziantep 2-1 in their last league match making it a three-match unbeaten run in the league, drawing the other two. Additionally, they have lost just once in their last eight Super Lig matches – winning three and drawing four. Nevertheless, they have been one of poor scoring sides of the league with just 19 strikes so far. That record is the joint-fifth worst in Super Lig casting doubts over their scoring form. Their defensive record is impressive, though, conceding just 21 goals which is the joint-sixth best record in the league this season.
