Any non-league fan wants to see their team play in this match. Hartlepool United take on Torquay United for a place in League Two next season. It's been a long hard season for these clubs who have both previously been in the English Football League. To be fair, the National League is League Three considering how many ex-league teams are in it. Torquay finished second in the National League finishing four points behind champions Sutton United. But for drawing their last four games they would have won the title. Instead, they are in the play-offs and took on Notts County, needing extra time to win 4-2. Danny Wright hit a hat-trick as they won 5-0 away at Hartlepool last October but lost 1-0 at home to them in the reverse fixture played in March. Three of their last five games have seen both teams score. 

Hartlepool United were in the English Football League for 89 years before being relegated in 2017. They have struggled in recent seasons, failing to even finish in the top ten of the National League. This season has been better for them and they eventually finished in fourth place four points behind Torquay. They had to play two matches to get to this play-off final. The semi-final saw them get off to a great start as they scored three goals in the first 24 minutes, eventually winning 3-2. Then they took on Stockport away and won 1-0 with a goal 14 minutes from time. Five of their last nine games have seen both teams score and the tip here is for that stat to come up in this final. If betting on the result after 90 minutes, a draw looks likely.
