Granada continue their bid to return to La Liga at the first time of asking. They are seventh in Liga SmartBank and host Burgos who are second in the table. The home side are only a place and two points outside the promotion play-offs and five behind Burgos who occupy the second and final automatic promotion position. Granada have 29 points this season but 23 of those have been earned at home. Their away form has to be improved if they are to get back into La Liga. Granada have won seven at home in the league with two draws and no losses. 20 goals have been scored and just two conceded. One of those came in their last home league game when beating Alaves who are currently third in the table.
Burgos are only a point behind league leaders Las Palmas who play later on the 11th. They have only won one of their last three league matches and lost 2-1 at home to fourth placed Eibar in their last match. Burgos have the best defensive record in this league with only nine goals conceded in their 19 games. Nine of those matches have been away from home and just three goals have been conceded in them. However, they struggle to score goals with only six scored and only four teams in the league have scored less than that. This is a tough game for them, back Granada to get the home victory.
