Galatasaray v Yeni Malatyaspor Betting Tips [16 February 2020]

Galatasary are the form team in the Turkish Super Lig and they have themselves in the reckoning for the title this season. The Istanbul giants are 5th on 39 points just three behind league leaders Sivasspor in what is an enthralling title race with as many as six teams in the race for the title. Galatasary come into this match 15 points ahead of their opponents who are currently 10th.  

The hosts have won five straight matches in the league scoring 17 times whilst conceding just two goals. They will be hoping their relentless run continues at home to a struggling Yeni side this weekend. Galatasary have won seven of their 11 home games this season and lost just once to Istanbul Basaksehir. Three wins from their last three home matches in the league should send them into this game with confidence and they have won five in a row at home in all competitions. The home side also have the best defence in the league so far this term conceding just 17 goals in 21 league matches.  

As for the visitors they have just one win from their last eight matches in all competitions and they have picked up just one point from their last five matches in the league. It doesn’t look much better when you look at their form over their last 10 league games as Yeni Malatyaspor have won just one of those matches and away from home they have won just three of their 11 games and have lost each of the last two. Furthermore, they have been losing at half-time in seven of those 11 games. 

Two teams here who are in contrasting form and I think there will only be one winner here and that is Galatasary. They know how to win titles and they have been winning games with ease recently so I’m going to tip a Galatasary double result here. Back the home side to be winning at both half-time and full-time.
