Fulham v Everton Betting Tips [22 November 2020]

Both sides need to get a win from this game. Fulham are 17th in the Premier League, while visitors Everton are down to seventh after three straight defeats. Fulham are just a point above the relegation zone, their only league win this season being a 2-0 home win over fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion. That has kept them out of the bottom three though and if the season ends now, they’d be delighted. Six of their eight league games have been lost, they also managed a draw at Sheffield United but should have won that match. They missed a penalty and conceded one with just five minutes remaining. Another shocking penalty miss saw them miss out on a point at West Ham. It’s incidents like that they will remember if being narrowly relegated. The home win over West Brom is the only one of four home league games they haven’t lost. Eight goals have been conceded in those three matches.

Everton got off to a great start this season but have been a damp squid of late. They won their first four league games and made it to the last eight of the EFL Cup. However, they arrive at Craven Cottage with just a single point from their last four league matches. They drew with Liverpool but have been beaten by Southampton, Newcastle and Manchester United since then. They are now seventh in the table, five points off the top and only three clear of 15th placed Leeds United. Jamie Rodriguez seems to have gone off the boil. He was in superb form earlier in the season but has gone six matches without a goal. Dominic Calvert-Lewin only has one in his last three league games, but surely this pair can prosper against Fulham. A bet on Everton to win should be a winning one.

This is an important game for both sides but definitely more so for Everton. The former league leaders could drop back into mid-table obscurity if their poor run continues. They play a Fulham side with a poor home record and should be too strong for them. Time for Calvert-Lewin and Rodriguez to shine again. Go for an away win.
