Fulham will look to jump out of the relegation zone but face a massive task of overcoming London neighbours Chelsea in this Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage. Fulham are 18th in the standings with 12 points from 16 matches and two points from safety with two games in hand. Chelsea are ninth in the league standings with 26 points from 17 matches. They have fallen six points behind the final Champions League place, so can't afford to drop further behind.
Fulham haven't won a Premier League game since a 2-1 win at Leicester at the end of November. A loss at Manchester City followed that win but since then they have drawn five straight league games. The good news for them is their defence has improved a great deal. They have only conceded three goals in their last five league games and kept an FA Cup clean sheet last weekend. Of those three league goals conceded, two were penalties. A good performance considering they have played Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton. Fulham are still struggling for goals though with three goals in the last six league fixtures, one scored by the opposition.
Chelsea have seen their season unravel and are currently struggling to stay put in the top-ten let alone get into the Champions League. They have lost four of their last six league matches with the only win being a 3-0 home victory over West Ham. Away form in the Premier League began with three wins and two draws. However, the last three have all been lost with only two goals scored. They now have two away games at Fulham and Leicester and need to get some points on the table.
