League One sides Fleetwood Town and Sheffield Wednesday bring contrasting forms for the FA Cup fourth round replay at Highbury Stadium on Tuesday with the winner set to face Burnley or Ipswich away in the fifth round. These teams played out a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough in the first round setting up this replay clash. Promise Omochere gave Fleetwood a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute at Hillsborough but an own goal by Josh Earl was the last straw of action. The home side are in their first FA Cup fourth round action but have very little hopes of going further. Even recent form has been troublesome for Fleetwood who are 17th in League One and only two points above the relegation zone. The hosts lost 3-2 at Burton Albion last time around making it just one draw in five competitive matches, which incidentally came in this competition against Wednesday. Fleetwood have struggled to gain any advantage from their home matches as well, losing five of their last six matches at this venue. Positively though, the exception came in the FA Cup when they won 2-1 against Championship side Queens Park Rangers in the last round and have also won 3-1 against Oxford City in the earlier rounds here but rising up Wednesday's challenge could be tough.
In sharp contrast to their hosts, Wednesday are flying high in League One staying top of the table with 61 points and also have a game in hand over their closest rivals. The visitors are also unbeaten in 14 competitive matches, winning ten. In fact, the 1-1 draw against Fleetwood earlier in January in the fourth round was the only match they didn't win across eight matches in all competitions. In addition to remaining unbeaten over 90 minutes in 22 games, the visitors have shown enough ambition in the FA Cup as well, brushing aside Champions League-chasing Premier League side Newcastle United 2-1 in the previous round. Although this is their first away match in this edition of the FA Cup for Wednesday, they have managed to win their last two away games in League One and will be confident of doing the task here. The confidence gets further boost from having done the league double this season over Fleetwood including a 2-1 win here.
