Fiorentina v AC Milan Betting Tips [22 February 2020]

Fiorentina are thirteenth in the La Liga, while AC Milan are sixth after twenty four rounds of play.  The two teams are separated by seven points but Fiorentina have the greater urgency to win as they are only six points away from the relegation zone. 
With a 5-1 win over Sampdoria in their most recent league match, Fiorentina will be hoping to replicate the success against AC Milan, if only to remain in the league next season. Chiesa and Vlahovic each scored a brace in the match, which was paired with a Thorsby own goal for the victory. 
At home, Fiorentina have won twice and drew twice in six matches across all competitions. Of the matches, three ended with over 2.5 goals and four had both opponents on the scoresheet. 
AC Milan, meanwhile, beat Torino 1-0 on Monday, with Ante Rebic netting the winning goals. This was Milan's first win in three league games. On the road, Milan have won four times in six matches across all competitions with three of the games having more than two goals scored. 
With Fiorentina having won the opening leg 3-1, we will be looking to see if Milan will recover to carry the day this time round. 

Fiorentina are not using their home advantage beneficially and there is a high likelihood that they will struggle against Milan. We expect the visitors to actively pursue a win, which will bring them closer to a Europa League position, but we see more value in supporting a total score tally of more than two goals.
